Dr Valsala C Nair
Dr Valsala C Nair has a doctorate in Civil Engineering from
IIT/Kanpur. She is an expert in the field of traffic and transportation
and has carried out extensive research and planning in various
aspects of traffic and transportation problems faced by developing
countries. She has been in transport infrastructure consulting
business for more than 30 years. Has served various multinational
consulting firms in senior management positions like Senior Vice
President, Chief Operating Officer etc.. She has worked on more
than 500 transport infrastructure projects in India and overseas in the
capacity of project director/team leader/project manager. She has
published many technical papers and an active member of various
professional bodies. Recipient of the distinguished “Women
Engineer Award” from IE. She formed VCN INFRA to provide
technical consulting and advisory services for transport infrastructure
and to give training to young transport planners and engineers. She
provides the leadership and forward thinking that have got us this far.

Dr C K B Nair
Dr C K B Nair has a doctorate in mechanical engineering and
post doctor fellowship from West Virginia, USA. He holds a PG
diploma in management. He has three decades of senior
management experience in Indian ordnance factory service,
Govt. of India. He has successfully implemented many
technology transfer projects and indigenous research and
development projects. He has coordinated many strategic
initiatives in human resource development. During his long
industrial career, he was involved in all types of operation
management. A qualified Russian interpreter, and six sigma
green belt, he was the senior management representative of the
quality management systems in a large scale production unit. He
is an educationalist as well and has published many technical
papers in international journals and an active member of various
professional bodies. At VCN Infra, he will be responsible for
quality.
